We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced professional to contribute to the financial management and operational success of our company. Key Responsibilities for Accountant Jobs in Ndola Prepare monthly management accounts and comprehensive financial reports.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Conduct daily bank reconciliations and manage cash flow efficiently.

Process payroll and ensure all statutory deductions are submitted punctually. Prepare and file VAT, PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA, and other relevant tax returns.

Maintain the general ledger with precise and up-to-date financial records. Monitor company budgets and implement cost control measures.

Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly. Generate invoices and follow up on outstanding debtor balances.

Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors. Ensure compliance with Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) and other statutory requirements.

Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory documentation. Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.

Implement and enhance internal financial controls. Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Required Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA, either completed or in progress, are advantageous.

Minimum of three years’ accounting experience, preferably in transport, logistics, or fuel industries. Strong understanding of accounting principles and Zambian tax legislation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

High integrity, confidentiality, and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently and deliver within tight deadlines.
