Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of legal matters across Labour Law, Civil Litigation, Family Law, and Commercial Law.
• Represent clients in the High Court and other relevant courts and tribunals.
• Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, opinions, notices, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice to clients.
• Attend consultations with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Handle litigation matters from inception through to finalisation.
• Prepare for and attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Manage case files, ensuring compliance with court rules, procedural requirements, and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all legal documentation is properly filed and administered.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional and responsive service.
• Keep abreast of legislative developments and relevant case law.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney with Right of Appearance in the High Court.
• Minimum of 5 years' post-admission experience.
• Proven experience in:
  • Labour Law
  • Civil Litigation
  • Family Law
  • Commercial Law
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems.
• Caselines & Court Online Proficiency 
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple matters simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Client-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
