Our client is a leading provider of pump and fluid handling solutions to the mining industry. They are seeking a skilled Application Engineer / Sales Engineer to drive business development, provide technical support, manage projects, and maintain strong client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying customer requirements, preparing technical proposals, overseeing project execution, and growing market share within the mining sector.
Education:
- Mechanical Engineering qualification, or
- Chemical Engineering qualification
Job Experience & Skills Required:- Minimum 5 years' experience in pump sales
- Proven sales experience within the mining industry
- Project management experience
- Strong technical and commercial acumen
- Experience providing engineered solutions to mining clients
- Ability to prepare technical proposals and quotations
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Willing to travel in and out of Africa
