APPRENTICE ELECTRICIAN Rosslyn, Pretoria R8 000 – R12 000 Start Date: ASAP Our client, a leader within the heavy industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly intelligent, technically minded individual to join their team as an Apprentice Electrician. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who intends to qualify as an Electrician while gaining invaluable practical experience in one of the most technically advanced industrial environments in Pretoria. You do not need to be a qualified Electrician. Instead, we are looking for someone with a strong interest in electricity, machinery and technology, who enjoys understanding how things work and demonstrates a natural technical aptitude. This role offers exposure that is rarely available elsewhere, including electrical systems, machine control, PLCs, drive technology, motion control and industrial automation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist qualified Electricians with electrical installations, maintenance and repairs. • Learn preventative and breakdown maintenance on industrial machinery. • Assist with electrical fault finding and diagnostics. • Gain exposure to machine control systems and industrial automation. • Work with motors, drives, electrical panels and control equipment. • Learn safe electrical working practices within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. • Complete training tasks under the guidance of experienced artisans. • Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.
