Assistant Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee debtors, creditors, income audit, banking, VAT, PAYE, and reconciliations
• Ensure accurate month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger integrity
• Manage procurement processes, inventory controls, and payment approvals
• Maintain audit readiness and compliance with internal controls and SOPs
• Supervise finance team members and support performance management initiatives
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across the finance function

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3-5 years' experience within a finance environment
• Hospitality finance experience essential
• Exposure to financial controls, audits, reconciliations, and reporting
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience advantageous

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Accpac experience advantageous
• Opera experience advantageous
• Hotelkit and SharePoint exposure beneficial
• Strong reconciliation and internal controls experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment
