ASSISTANT STORES MANAGER

Our client in the steel manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced Assistant Stores Manager to support inventory control, warehouse operations, and stores management activities.

Grade 12 (Matric) Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, or related field

3–5 years' experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory management

Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience

Experience in manufacturing, engineering, mining, or steel production environments advantageous ERP system experience (SAP, Syspro, Sage, or similar)

Key responsibilities:

Inventory and stock control management

Supervising warehouse and stores operations

Materials, spare parts, and consumables management

Stock reconciliations and reporting

Team leadership and staff supervision

Ensuring health, safety, and housekeeping compliance
