Introduction

A well-established SANAS Accredited B-BBEE Verification Agency established accounting firm based in Lynnwood, Pretoria, is looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic B-BBEE Technical Signatory to join their team and contribute to delivering professional verification and advisory services to our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct B-BBEE verification audits across all scorecard elements in line with relevant legislation, Codes of Good Practice, and sector charters.
  • Collect, review, and verify client documentation for compliance.
  • Perform data analysis and prepare working papers to support verification findings.
  • Draft and compile detailed verification reports in accordance with SANAS and DTI requirements and handle appeal as per procedure
  • Conduct Preparation Meeting with clients to clarify requirements, resolve queries, and ensure smooth verification processes.
  • Conduct On-Site Verification Meeting
  • Plan Verifications and draft the Verification Plan.
  • Complete scorecard and calculations.
  • Keep up to date with B-BBEE legislation, amendments, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with internal quality control, process improvements, and team development.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and audit trails for all verifications.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • B-BBEE MDP (Management Development Programme) Certificate
  • NQF 5 Relevant Qualification / B. Com Degree or B. Tech Degree
  • At least 2–3 years’ experience in B-BBEE verification, consulting, or related field (experience within an accredited Verification Agency is an advantage).
  • Solid understanding of B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice and sector charters.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team under tight deadlines.
  • Own transport and driver’s license.
