Responsibilities or duties

Plan and supervise drill-and-blast patterns, handle explosives, ensure blast clearance zones, and assess fragmentation quality after detonation.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering; Grade 12 Certificate; A valid Blasting Certificate (BL); First Aid Certificate; Valid Driver’s License; In possession of a Valid Silicosis certificate; Fully paid-up member of the EIZ; Excellent Supervisory Skills; Computer literacy with basic skills and ability to work with basic Ms applications; Excellent communication skills; Result Driven.

Experience needed

At least 3 years practical experience; Five (5) years’ minimum experience
