Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and cost control measures
- Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities
- Provide strategic financial advice to management for decision-making
- Implement and improve financial systems, controls, and processes
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management
Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is required or strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5–6 years proven experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems)
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
