Our client, a leading force in the retail industry, is seeking an accomplished Chief Operating Officer to steer their strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and organisational development during a pivotal phase of expansion.
Duties:
Develop and implement a clear vision and long-term strategy aligned with the company’s values and growth objectives
Manage diversification, expansion, and modernisation initiatives
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability
Collaborate with the financial team to manage budgets and financial planning for sustainable growth
Drive cost optimisation while investing in innovation
Foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and high performance
Promote talent development, diversity, and employee engagement
Build leadership pipelines and succession plans for key roles
Lead and develop senior management teams
Oversee workforce planning and organisational structure
Requirements:
Proven track record of strategic leadership in similar roles within the retail industry
At least 10-15 years of senior management experience
Strong financial management and strategic planning skills
Expertise in business development, change management, and operational excellence
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities
Ability to lead, mentor, and develop multi-disciplinary teams
