Clinical Trainer / Educator – Medical Aesthetics

One of South Africa’s leading medical aesthetics companies is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Trainer / Educator to join a dynamic Johannesburg-based team.
This role is ideal for a confident, hands-on professional with a strong background in laser and energy-based aesthetic devices, who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
The position involves extensive local and international travel, delivering both theoretical and practical training to new and existing users of advanced aesthetic platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and develop clinical training material for presentation and training purposes
- Conduct theoretical and practical training (in-person and online) for new and potential users
- Arrange and facilitate clinical workshops
- Perform product demonstrations for potential clients and support the sales team when required
- Examine and assess users in accordance with supplier and product criteria
- Attend trade shows, congresses, and clinical events
- Ensure all clinical activities comply with ISO 13485 standards
Minimum Requirements- 3–4-year Somatology qualification or relevant medical degree/diploma
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating laser and allied devices within the aesthetic or beauty industry
- Training, teaching, or product transfer experience within the medical, aesthetic, or beauty sector (advantageous)
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer literacy, with proven content compilation and clinical writing skills
- Willing and able to travel locally and internationally
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
