A well established multi-disciplinary firm of Chartered Accountants based in Cape Town is looking for a Company Secretary.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Company Secretarial Practice, Corporate Governance, Law, Accounting, or a related field.Minimum 3 years’ relevant company secretarial experience in a professional firm of chartered accountants, auditors, or corporate service providers.
• Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of clients and full CIPC compliance processes.
• ProfSec experience advantageous
• Own reliable vehicle and transport           

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong working knowledge of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 and corporate compliance requirements.
• Experience with Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) e-services and filings.
• Understanding of corporate governance principles and statutory record keeping.
