Assign tasks, monitor workforce productivity, and provide clear guidance to site personnel and subordinates. Track project progress and promptly report any delays, risks, or deviations to the Assistant Project Manager.
Coordinate with internal departments and site teams to facilitate seamless project execution. Conduct thorough inspections of ongoing work to verify material quality, workmanship, and adherence to standards.
Ensure all construction activities comply with company policies, statutory requirements, and quality assurance protocols. Identify and resolve quality issues, promoting continuous improvement in construction methods and site productivity.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations, including conducting daily toolbox talks and monitoring PPE usage. Investigate and report site incidents or unsafe conditions, ensuring corrective measures are implemented promptly.
Manage materials and resources efficiently to prevent wastage and control costs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and attendance logs.
Foster effective communication and collaboration with site support, fabrication, health and safety, logistics, and other relevant teams. Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with a certificate in Construction Management or related discipline.
1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in construction or civil engineering projects. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, engineering principles, and quality assurance standards.
Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and project scheduling. Strong site supervision and workforce management capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent report-writing skills. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
