Customer Supply Chain Specialist (6-Month Contract)

Location: Cape Town
Contract: 6 Months

An established international organisation within the FMCG sector is seeking an experienced Customer Supply Chain Specialist to join their Supply Chain team on a six-month contract.
This role requires a hands-on professional with strong experience in customer order management, inventory management, forecasting and cross-functional collaboration within an FMCG or retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders and ensure accurate, on-time order execution.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Demand Planning and Distribution teams to optimise service delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock availability and replenishment activities.
• Support forecasting, promotional planning and continuous supply chain improvements.
• Maintain accurate SAP master data and resolve order-related queries.
• Analyse service levels and operational performance, providing recommendations to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Customer Supply Chain, Customer Service, Order Management or Supply Chain Operations within an FMCG or retail environment.
• SAP experience is essential.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Available immediately or on short notice will be advantageous.
