DATA ANALYST (FINANCIAL SERVICES )

Well Known Agriculture Company based in Pretoria Seeks Data Analyst Within The Financial Services Department 

The successful candidate will report to the Credit Data Specialist.

• 
  
• Create compelling and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders
  
• Compile and distribute statistical data of the Financial and Retail divisions to relevant stake holders on a regular basis
  
• Analyse sales and marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation
  
• Research industry benchmarks and ensure that correct benchmarks are used as measurement standards
  
• Extract and transform data from multiple sources, including MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL databases
  
• Cleanse and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  
• Assist in database administration tasks, including performance tuning, and security
  
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the integrity and availability of data
  
• Work on data engineering tasks, such as data pipeline development and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
  
• Optimise data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and IT, to gather data requirements and provide data-driven insights
  
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into data analysis projects 
  
• Assist in ad hoc tasks as instructed by management.
