Qualification Requirements

• NQF Level 7 qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in Cloud Engineering and DevOps environments.
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Key Skills

• AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• CI/CD pipeline development.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation).
• Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Security and compliance automation.
• Monitoring and observability tools.
• Linux and scripting technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain DevOps practices.
• Build automated deployment pipelines.
• Manage cloud environments and infrastructure.
• Support application deployment and release management.
• Monitor system performance and reliability.
• Implement security controls and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate
