Job & Company Description:

A highly advanced engineering environment is seeking an Automation & DevOps Engineer to play a key role in transforming development and delivery processes.
In this role, you will design, implement, and optimise DevOps pipelines, enhance requirements management practices, and support continuous integration and deployment strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, scalable, and secure development environments while contributing to digital transformation initiatives. 

Education:

• BEng in Electronic / Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification advantageous 

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Strong experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation environments 
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) 
• Experience with Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory 
• Solid understanding of requirements management and traceability across the SDLC 
• Experience designing and maintaining continuous deployment pipelines 
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps best practices 
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/MySQL) and system integrations 
• Ability to manage and integrate development environments and tools 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills 

Advantageous:

• Experience with containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Podman) 
• Knowledge of IaaS / IaC environments
• Exposure to cybersecurity practices and requirements 
• Experience with legacy system migrations and enterprise tools 
• Background in complex engineering or product development environments
