As a key member of our logistical operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Operate and drive heavy-duty trucks to transport goods to various locations. Perform routine checks on the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety. Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while on the road. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups in compliance with company standards. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding route changes or delays. Ensure cargo is secured and that the vehicle is loaded properly to prevent damage during transit. Attend regular training and company meetings as required. Required and Preferred Qualifications Must have a Matric Certificate. Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong driving skills and knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Ability to navigate routes effectively and efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications in heavy vehicle driving is an advantage.
