Electrical Sales & project Engineer

Job Description:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and identify project opportunities
• Prepare quotations, project scopes, and technical proposals
• Manage projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion
• Coordinate project resources, suppliers, and installation teams
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within specification
• Assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and project handovers
• Maintain project documentation and customer communication throughout the project lifecycle

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the electrical or industrial engineering industry
• Experience in technical sales, project engineering, or project management
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and industrial applications
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Experience preparing quotations, estimates, and technical proposals
• Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities
• Hands-on approach with strong project ownership capabilities
• Experience with automation, control systems, or commissioning advantageous
• Knowledge of PLCs, VSDs, control panels, and related electrical systems advantageous

 
Qualification:

• Trade Tested Electrician or Millwright
• N4, N5, or N6 Electrical Engineering advantageous
• PLC and VSD training advantageous
• Project management experience advantageous
• Valid Driver's Licence required for customer visits and site support
