Requirements:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Trade Certificate.
Diploma holders: 5 years' experience in a power plant or electrical substations.
Trade certificate holders: 8 years' electrical maintenance experience.
Knowledge of electrical maintenance tools.
Experience with generators, motors, transformers and switchgear.
Good English communication skills.
Computer literacy.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical faults in plant equipment.
Install, test, commission and maintain electrical systems in power plant.
Service and maintain generators, electric motors, transformers, switchgear and other electrical equipment.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Use electrical testing instruments and maintenance tools to identify faults and verify repairs.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
