A highly respected logistics company with industry excellence is looking for a Financial Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their finance team in Johannesburg East. Specialising in import/export, freight forwarding, logistical management, and cold chain solutions, this business plays a critical role in supply chains across South Africa.
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with 2–5 years’ experience who enjoys working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and wants hands-on exposure to the full finance function.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2–5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant or Bookkeeper
• Strong understanding of the full finance function
• Experience in logistics, transport, manufacturing, or high-volume environments (highly advantageous)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the full financial function
• Preparation and review of financial reports
• Managing general ledger accounts and performing reconciliations
• Processing and reviewing bank statements
• Overseeing creditors and debtors
• Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
• Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
