Financial Accountant | Finance Operations & Compliance

A well-established organisation based in Johannesburg North is seeking a Finance and Compliance Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation and experience across core finance functions, including VAT, tax, reconciliations, audit support, and financial reporting. Exposure to the hospitality industry would be advantageous.

Education and Qualifications

• National Diploma or B.Com Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3–5 years' relevant accounting experience
• Experience within the hospitality industry preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems

• Manage VAT, tax, and statutory compliance requirements, ensuring accurate and timeous submissions.
• Prepare and process journals, account reconciliations, and month-end reporting activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial records.
• Support internal and external audit processes, providing required schedules and documentation.
• Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS and internal control procedures.
