General Worker

Position Summary: The General Worker reports to the Site technician (when on site), and Senior Employees and is responsible for providing general assistance and support to the employer, senior management and site technicians. Responsibilities: The General Worker is expected to: • Assist the Site Technician with any and all work required to safely and competently carry out all services rendered to clients; • Ensure that the Workshop and Client site is kept clean and environmentally safe (any oil spills or other waste materials are cleaned up and properly disposed of etc.); • Not, through their conduct or negligence, endanger fellow Employees or any Client staff; • Assist with the lifting and/or moving around of Machinery, Oil Drums, and other apparatus; and • Notify a responsible person (either Site Technician, Senior Staff or Responsible Client Staff Member) of any danger or potential danger they identify on site or with the operating Machines that may cause harm to themselves, fellow Employees or Client Staff.
