7-Hectare Banana & Citrus Plantation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Orchard care: Oversee banana desuckering, citrus pruning, fertilizing, and crop cycles.
• Crop protection: Scout daily for pests and diseases and implement chemical or organic treatments.
• Irrigation management: Operate water delivery systems and manage rainy-season field drainage.
• Labor management: Assign, track, and motivate local casual labor teams.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate logs for inputs, daily tasks, and harvest yields.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Certificate in General Agriculture, Crop Science, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Strong baseline knowledge of fruit tree cultivation and plant health.
• Fluency in English and Bemba.
• Exceptional integrity, strong communication skills, and a hands-on work ethic.
