HARDWARE STORE MANAGER – Position Summary Searching for a proven Retail Store Manager. This person will be responsible for all aspects of running the store on a daily basis, including maximizing the store sales and profitability, managing expenses, ensuring that the store is optimally stocked and merchandised, and that all customers are provided with excellent customer service and staff are performing optimally. Retail management experience required, hardware knowledge extremely beneficial. Major Responsibilities The major responsibilities for this position include:
• Oversee all store employees’ activity to ensure that the store is running efficiently and profitably.
• Oversee retail inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels, ensure report accuracy and to reduce shrinkage,
• Ensure that scheduling meets seasonal customer demand
• Ensure merchandising and visual presentation standards
• Make sure safety policies and procedures are enforced
• Take on tasks and projects as requested by Exco. Minimum Requirements
Looking for a “people” person, helpful, confident, positive attitude with retail managerial experience. Store Manager must be committed to service excellence, take pride in good work, and can supervise, lead, and motivate others whilst driving profitability of the store.
