? Position: H.E.R Technician (Heavy Equipment Repair Technician)
? Employment Type: Full-Time
Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is inviting applications from qualified and experienced individuals to join its team as a H.E.R Technician.
? Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy mining equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
- Conduct equipment inspections and quality checks
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately
- Provide technical support and basic operational guidance to customers
- Report equipment issues and maintenance feedback to supervisors
- Support junior technicians where required
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards
? Minimum Requirements
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate
- Advanced Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair (H.E.R) or Diploma in Mechanics
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience repairing heavy-duty equipment
- Underground mining experience is an added advantage
- Valid Silicosis Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Basic computer skills are an added advantage
