Instrumentation Energy Technician

Requirements:

• Higher secondary certificate or Diploma.
• Plant safety knowledge.
• Power or desalination plant experience.
• Instrument calibration and maintenance.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic systems experience.
• CO2, fire protection and gas detection experience.
• Strong technical and safety skills. 
• Good English communication skills.

• Install, inspect, calibrate, maintain and repair instrumentation and control systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on plant instrumentation, sensors, transmitters, analyzers, sensors, control valves and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation faults and diagnose control system issues to minimise equipment downtime.
• Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, level and analytical instruments in accordance with manufacturer specifications and plant procedures. 
• Install, commission and test new instrumentation and control equipment during plant upgrades and maintenance projects. 
• Maintain and repair pneumatic, hydraulic and electro-mechanical control systems.
