Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing data integrations between devices, backend platforms, APIs, and third-party systems. You'll work closely with internal technical teams and external partners to deliver scalable, reliable, production-grade integration solutions.
 
Key responsibilities include:
 

• Build and maintain TCP-based services responsible for ingesting high-volume telemetry and device data. 
• Parse, validate, normalise, and process incoming real-time data streams.
• Design and develop integrations with third-party platforms and partner systems.
• Develop REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven integration solutions.
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms including OAuth2, API keys, and certificate-based authentication.
• Develop backend services using C# and .NET technologies.
• Design and optimise SQL Server database schemas and queries for high-performance data environments.
• Build and maintain asynchronous processing pipelines using messaging technologies.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and fault-tolerant processing mechanisms.
• Investigate and troubleshoot production issues across devices, networks, APIs, and backend systems.
• Participate in partner onboarding and technical integration sessions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration mappings, troubleshooting guides, and API specifications.

Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in backend development, infrastructure engineering, or systems integration.
• Strong development experience with C# and .NET.
• Solid SQL Server experience, including query optimization and database design.
• Experience building and supporting TCP/IP-based services.
• Strong understanding of real-time data processing environments.
• Experience with REST APIs, distributed systems, and integration architectures.
• Exposure to message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Understanding of authentication, security, and secure integration practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across network, device, application, and backend environments.

 

Qualification:
Relevant Degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
