Junior Cattle Manager
This role involves working closely with the Manager on a beef farm in Ladysmith/Bergville, KwaZulu Natal area.
As the Junior Cattle Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the farm.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manager in overseeing the cattle farming activities
- Assist with the health and well-being of the cattle ie. vaccinating, tagging, dipping, dosing
- Help maintain farm infrastructure and equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience in cattle farming required
- Passionate about working with cattle
- Drivers license
Qualifications
No specific qualifications required
Skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, hard working.
Work under pressure.
Long hours if necessary and dedicated to animal welfare.
