Boland Cellar, situated in the picturesque Paarl area, is a leading brand in the local and international wine industry. The company currently has an exciting career opportunity available to join their management team. The incumbent will report to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

• Plan bottling function according to lead times of packaging material and wine preparation
• Manage bottling schedule
• Manage relationship with bottling service provider
• Manage relationships with dry goods suppliers
• Coordinate dry goods / packaging material: orders, adherence to technical specifications, stock control and quality control
• Act as liaison between clients and bottling service provider
• Coordinate rework process
• Maintain minimum stock levels
• Ensure that labels adhere to regulatory requirements
• Coordinate trademark registrations
• Administrate barcodes and packing specifications

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma or degree in Logistics (minimum requirement)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supply chain and logistics role in the wine industry
• Previous experience in WineMS is mandatory
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Above average computer skills (MS Office)
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Numerical skills
• Excellent communication (English & Afrikaans) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to function well under pressure and prioritise tasks
