Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Machinist in the clothing manufacturing industry
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines
- Experience operating one or more of the following machines:
- Overlocker
- Safety Machine
- Flossing Machine
- Buttonhole Machine
- Box Safety Machine
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to work overtime when required
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to produce quality garments
- Check garment pieces, fabric panels, and measurements before stitching
- Ensure customer specifications and quality standards are met
- Report machine faults to the Line Supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation
- Perform other reasonable duties as required
