This is a technical, team-leading role suited to someone comfortable running maintenance operations in a remote, off-grid environment. You'll need to be equally at home managing people as you are managing generators, solar systems, and water treatment plants.

- Valid driver's licence
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator with leadership qualities
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Assign and monitor daily tasks for mechanics and maintenance staff
- Run daily briefings to cover priorities, issues, and plans
- Stay available on radio to support maintenance tasks as they arise
- Inspect lodge facilities and identify maintenance needs
- Check key systems including water treatment, generators, solar, HVAC, and electrical panels
- Oversee urgent repairs such as plumbing leaks and electrical faults
- Keep all equipment and vehicles in good working order
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality work
- Schedule contractor access, verify completed work, and manage communication between contractors and the lodge
- Monitor fuel levels for generators and vehicles
- Monitor gas levels in bulk tanks and portable bottles
- Keep tools and consumables such as light bulbs and plumbing parts stocked
- Update logs for completed work, equipment usage, and resolved issues
- Complete all required daily dips and recordings
