Our client has an opportunity available for a Mast Inspector.

Requirements:

• N6 in Civil or Structural Engineering, Level 1 and Level 2 Magnetic Particle Inspection.
• Matric certificate.
• Valid South African driver’s license.
• 2 years’ experience within the civil or structural environment.
• Level 2 Magnetic Particle Inspection and Liquid Penetrant Inspection training.
• Knowledge of the OHS Act.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct effective route planning for scheduled mast inspections.
• Update safety files monthly or weekly as per the OHS Act.
• Conduct regularly monitoring of the performance of the Assistant and provide required support and feedback.
• Conduct mast inspections on scheduled masts including MPI at the base of the mast. Prepare accurate reports based on the findings during the mast inspection.
• Arrange accommodation in due time.
