Mechanical Project Engineer

Who we're looking for:

• BSc / BEng / BTech in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 2–10+ years' experience in mechanical engineering with project involvement
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and rotating machinery
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and site activities
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools advantageous
• ECSA registration (or working towards it) is a bonus

• Managing the full lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects on industrial and plant environments
• Overseeing equipment installation, commissioning, and handover
• Reviewing mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications
• Coordinating procurement of mechanical equipment and materials
• Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with SANS and OHS Act requirements
• Reporting on project progress, budgets, and risk to senior stakeholders
