Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Leadership
  • Develop and execute national and regional sales strategies for the Truck OEM commercial vehicle distribution.
  • Manage dealer performance, fleet client relationships, and direct sales channels.
  • Monitor sales KPIs and adjust tactics to meet quarterly and annual targets.
  1. Marketing Oversight
  • Oversee brand positioning, advertising, and promotional campaigns for Truck OEM.
  • Align marketing efforts with product launches, seasonal demand, and customer segments.
  • Ensure compliance with local advertising standards and cultural relevance.
  1. Strategic Planning & Reporting
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to align Truck OEM’s commercial strategy with overall business goals.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and market analysis for executive review.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experience and retention.
  1. Team Leadership
  • Manage department heads: Regional Sales Manager and Regional Marketing Manager.
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of commercial staff.
  • Promote a performance-driven, customer-centric culture.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or Automotive Management (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years in senior commercial roles within the automotive/OEM sector(Trucks).
  • Proven leadership in dealer network management and fleet sales.
  • Strong understanding of South African automotive regulations and SADC market dynamics.
