Luxury Hotel in the Kameeldrift area is looking for an experienced Night Auditor to ensure accurate completion of end-of-day financial and operational procedures ; provide efficient and courteous Front Office services during the night shift, and act as the responsible person for guest service, safety and security during the night. You will be responsible for all front office accounting records ; tracks room revenue ; occupancy percentages; and other front office operating statistics . As well as for preparing a summary of Restaurant dockets and credit card activities ; posts room charges ; Groups DCP charges and also posts guest transactions not posted during the day by the front office staff. The Night Auditor acts as a bridge between daytime staff and the back-office team and ensures that all guest requests are taken care of during the graveyard shift and that guests experience a fantastic stay. The Night Auditor also acts as the “Manager on Duty” during the night shift in the absence of senior management. Duties: Operational and guest service responsibilities Night audit and financial responsibilities Security; safety and compliance responsibilities Supervisory / leadership responsibilities: Ensure accuracy and completeness of the night audit, end-of-day procedures and financial reports. Perform check-in and check-out procedures according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Post room and conference charges to respective folios accurately and on time. Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts as per SOP. Verify that all charges posted from restaurant, bar, Micros / POS and SPA have reached the correct guest folios and that no dockets are missing. Requirements: National Senior Certificate Minimum 2 to 3 years of hotel front desk supervisory experience, experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks. Previous night audit experience and exposure to hotel financial reporting will be an advantage. Well-developed communication and customer relations skills.
