Duties:

  • Act as the primary contact for all client incidents and service requests via phone, email, and the service portal.
  • Perform initial triage, accurately log details into the PSA ticketing system, and classify/prioritize tickets based on severity and SLA metrics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 incidents on first contact whenever possible, or prepare documentation for escalation.
  • Execute password resets, MFA setups, and user access provisions within Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues (laptops, desktops), basic local/network printer problems, and standard software operating systems (Windows/macOS).
  • Resolve basic M365/Outlook mail flow issues, shared mailbox permissions, and folder restriction configurations.
  • Review daily system automated health checks, triage backup failure alerts, and escalate infrastructure issues as necessary.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service by providing clear, detailed ticket notes and regular status updates to clients.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a help desk, support, or network operations environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and basic network concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work on-site in Gauteng.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of ITIL principles and ticketing systems.
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure components.
