We are seeking a driven, recently qualified SAIPA Accountant to join a high-growth property investment business with a substantial and expanding portfolio. This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional who wants broad exposure, real responsibility, and the chance to work closely with experienced finance leaders in a fast-paced environment.

You'll become an integral part of a dynamic finance team, gaining exposure to multiple entities, complex financial reporting, forecasting, tax, compliance, and business partnering within a thriving portfolio environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Take ownership of the day-to-day accounting function across multiple entities within a growing portfolio
  
• Consolidate and integrate financial information from various business systems into the accounting platform
  
• Prepare monthly management accounts and deliver meaningful financial insights to support decision-making
  
• Analyse actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
  
• Prepare VAT calculations, reconciliations and assist with SARS-related queries and submissions
  
• Build and maintain cash flow forecasts to support business planning and funding requirements
  
• Assist with tax computations and year-end tax processes
  
• Prepare annual audit files and liaise with external auditors
  
• Compile and review Annual Financial Statements
  
• Contribute to process improvements, reporting efficiencies and financial control initiatives
  

Requirements

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has recently completed SAIPA Articles
  
• Holds a Finance, Accounting or related degree
  
• Is eager to accelerate their career in a commercial (private sector) finance environment
  
• Thrives in a fast-moving, deadline-driven business
  
• Has strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  
• Takes ownership and accountability for their work
  
• Enjoys working with numbers but also understands the story behind them
  
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  
• Communicates confidently and works well within a collaborative team
