About the Role – Operations Manager Jobs in Lusaka The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily security operations at all LSO branches and client sites.

The role requires ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering exceptional client service. You will coordinate security personnel deployment, conduct inspections and audits, and maintain operational assets such as uniforms, equipment, and vehicles.

Additionally, you will support contract mobilization and branch activities to uphold operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day security operations across all branches and client locations.

Coordinate deployment and supervision of security teams. Conduct operational inspections, site visits, and monitor performance metrics.

Establish and maintain strong client relationships to ensure service quality. Perform security risk assessments, operational audits, and investigate incidents.

Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Prepare detailed operational, incident, and performance reports for management review.

Oversee management of operational assets including uniforms, equipment, vehicles, and motorbikes. Assist with contract mobilization and support branch operational activities.

Qualifications and Experience Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Security Management, Public Administration, Criminology, Development Studies, or related discipline. At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in security operations, operations management, logistics, law enforcement, military service, or a comparable supervisory role.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams. Experience in client relationship management and operational planning is advantageous.

Core Competencies Strong leadership and effective people management capabilities. Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Clear and professional communication and interpersonal skills. Sound decision-making abilities and conflict resolution expertise.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications. Ability to produce comprehensive operational reports.

High levels of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. Capacity to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple priorities.

Additional Requirements Residency in Lusaka is mandatory.

Preferred age range:

• 35 to 45 years.
• Valid Zambian Class A (Motorbike) and Class B driver’s licenses.
• Must demonstrate sobriety, discipline, and good character.
• Willingness to travel as needed across branches and client sites.
