An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Regional Quality Manager to join a leading FMCG manufacturing operation based in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all quality-related activities within the region, ensuring compliance with quality systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting operational excellence across the business.



Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Implement, review, ensure compliance to and maintain all Quality systems and procedures within the region.
  • Develop and execute an internal Quality audit programme.
  • Actively implement continuous improvement projects.
  • Manage the Quality team.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance with regards to raw materials and final products.
  • Reduce customer complaints through effective quality management practices.
  • Partner with Sales Managers to provide customers with outstanding service.
  • Assemble, analyse and report Quality statistics and trends, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage the MRM and DRM processes.
  • Facilitate the Management of Change Process (DRM, ISIR) and other quality improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and manage the Quality budget.
  • Provide support to the Production process.
  • Support SHE activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:


  • National Diploma or related Degree (essential).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience dealing with Quality Assurance and FSSC systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years' management experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment in a Quality Manager role, preferably within the FMCG Manufacturing industry.
  • Sound knowledge of FSSC 22000 systems is essential.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sound understanding of quality management systems and auditing processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Budget management and reporting skills.

Salary:Market related.
