Job Description:
- Lead the geometric design of roads, highways, intersections, and related transport infrastructure
- Prepare design reports, drawings, and technical specifications
- Develop road alignments, cross-sections, and coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs
- Ensure designs comply with SANRAL, TMH, and relevant municipal standards
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
Skills & Experience: - Minimum 6+ years' experience in geometric road design within a consulting engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of SANRAL, TMH, and South African road design standards
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's licence
Qualification:- BTech/ BEng / BSc in Civil Engineering
- PR Eng registration with ECSA (essential)
