This role suits a driven hospitality sales professional who knows the luxury travel trade inside out and can build and grow relationships with Destination Management Companies. The position is based in Cape Town with regular local travel to properties around the country, and potential for international travel as the role develops.
Core Criteria:
- 3 to 5 years sales experience in luxury hospitality, with a proven track record of success
- Established relationships with Destination Management Companies (DMCs)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Target driven mindset with the ability to deliver results
- Ability to travel locally, with potential for international travel
- Willingness to grow and develop the group's network
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive sales for properties across the collection through DMC and trade relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key Destination Management Companies
- Travel locally to properties to support sales efforts and grow the network
- Host agent FAM trips to showcase each property
- Meet and work towards defined sales targets and KPIs
- Negotiate rates and contracts with trade partners
On Offer:
Salary: R40,000 to R65,000 per month, depending on experience and expertise
Commission structure
Based in Cape Town, with local travel to properties countrywide
