Job Purpose

Provide strategic leadership to the design team by driving design methodology, improving design processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high-quality, user-centred design solutions.
• Apply design thinking and best practices across products and services.
• Drive design from concept through prototyping to implementation.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
• Manage design delivery across multiple squads.
• Coach, mentor, and develop designers.
• Oversee team performance, resource planning, and continuous improvement.
• Measure and report on customer and business impact.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Preferred: Design qualification/certification from an accredited Design School.
• 7–10 years' design experience.
• 1–2 years' people management experience.
