Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and strategic business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain networks through participation in industry events, conferences, and business forums.
- Perform detailed financial, commercial, and risk-based due diligence on potential investments.
- Develop financial models including revenue forecasts, cost analyses, risk assessments, and return calculations.
- Prepare comprehensive investment reports and recommendations for decision-making purposes.
- Structure and negotiate financing solutions aligned with organisational risk and return objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of investment portfolios and funded businesses.
- Stay informed of industry developments, regulatory requirements, market conditions, and economic trends affecting investment decisions.
Job Experience and Skills Required:- BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in business investment, business finance, or a related financial services environment.
- Exposure to auditing, banking, financial accounting, or sales and marketing environments will be advantageous.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, investment assessments, and funding transactions.
