What You’ll Do:
- Deliver engineering consulting services to customers.
- Conduct drawing office, CAD, and engineering process assessments.
- Help customers improve design workflows, CAD standards, revision control, and engineering documentation.
- Support engineering data management, PDM, and digital transformation projects.
- Assist with SOLIDWORKS, PDM, 3DEXPERIENCE, and related engineering technology implementations.
- Develop and review CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Apply practical Design for Manufacturing principles.
- Present recommendations, technical demonstrations, workshops, and training.
What We’re Looking For:- Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering qualification.
- 5–7+ years’ experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing, or engineering systems.
- Strong CAD experience, preferably SOLIDWORKS.
- Good understanding of drawings, BOMs, revision control, manufacturing, and design release processes.
- Comfortable working directly with customers, engineering managers, and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project delivery skills.
Advantageous:- Experience with PDM, PLM, ERP, or engineering data management systems.
- Drawing office management, CAD administration, or design team leadership experience.
- Exposure to FEA, CFD or other simulation tools.
- Experience with design automation, templates, workflows, or engineering process improvement.
