Purpose of the Role
The Senior Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of all engineering and maintenance activities across the hotel or hospitality property. The successful candidate will ensure maximum uptime of all facilities, guest rooms, plant equipment, utilities, and building services while maintaining exceptional safety, quality, and service standards expected within a luxury hospitality environment.
This role requires a technically strong maintenance professional with extensive hands-on experience gained within the hospitality industry, capable of leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams while driving preventative maintenance programmes, asset management, contractor performance, and capital improvement projects.

- Trade Tested Electrician (Red Seal) OR
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

- Energy Management certification
ExperienceThe successful candidate must have:
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer or similar technical role within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Minimum 5 years' management experience leading maintenance teams.
