Our Project Delivery Group is a leading team focused on sustainable project execution, asset building, and operational efficiencies worldwide. The SMPP Supervisor will oversee construction contractors, ensuring project goals are met within the designated geographic area.
This role requires coordination of work sequencing in line with project schedules and evaluating construction methods and performance to maintain quality standards. Key Responsibilities for SMPP Supervisor Jobs in Solwezi Supervise construction contractors and subcontractors for assigned project segments.
Monitor job site health, safety, and environmental performance, ensuring worker protection. Ensure contractor work meets prescribed quality standards.
Coordinate design deliverables to facilitate continuous and efficient construction progress. Identify, manage, and communicate deficiencies and non-conformance issues to the Construction Manager.
Support site administration and maintain records per the Construction Execution Plan. Assist with construction estimating, scheduling, cost control, and reporting for contractor activities.
Serve as the primary job site contact for contractors within the assigned project area. Qualifications and Experience Technical degree or equivalent supervisory experience suitable for a leadership role.
Five to ten years of onsite experience on major construction projects. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide discipline-focused teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
Comprehensive understanding of the EPCM project delivery model and construction industry standards. Experience working on construction sites in other African countries is advantageous.
