Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a supply chain, operations, or logistics leadership role.
  • Proven experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, distribution, or production-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and operational planning.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  • Experience analysing operational data and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound commercial and analytical acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Operations:
  • Coordinate and optimise end-to-end supply chain activities to support operational objectives.
  • Monitor and improve the flow of materials, finished goods, and inventory across the business.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at reducing operational costs while maintaining service standards.
Inventory and Warehouse Management:
  • Oversee inventory control processes to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
  • Ensure effective warehouse operations, including storage, replenishment, and stock rotation.
  • Monitor inventory performance and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Drive best practices relating to stock management and inventory optimisation.
Operational Planning and Performance:
  • Support demand planning and operational scheduling processes.
  • Monitor operational performance against established KPIs.
  • Analyse operational trends and provide recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop reporting frameworks to support informed decision-making.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and develop operational teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development opportunities.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation across operational functions.
Stakeholder and Service Management:
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment of operational priorities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with service providers and key business partners.
  • Monitor service levels and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Participate in supplier performance evaluations and operational reviews.
Compliance and Governance:
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Support risk management initiatives and business continuity planning.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and industry requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead process optimisation initiatives across supply chain and operational functions.
  • Support the implementation of new systems, technologies, and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
