Key Responsibilities
Organisational Design & Development

  • Analyse existing organisational structures and operating models.
  • Design and implement efficient organisational frameworks and reporting structures.
  • Develop business processes, governance frameworks, and operational procedures.
  • Support organisational transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Conduct workforce planning and organisational capability assessments.
  • Develop job structures, role definitions, and process ownership models.
Business Process Improvement
  • Map, analyse, and optimise business processes across departments.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence programs.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Industrial Engineering methodologies to improve performance.
Systems Engineering & Integration
  • Design and implement integrated business systems and workflows.
  • Analyse interactions between departments, systems, and operational functions.
  • Develop performance measurement systems and operational dashboards.
  • Support ERP, workflow, and business process automation initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between business strategy and operational execution.
  • Identify opportunities for technology-enabled process improvements.
Strategic Planning & Operational Excellence
  • Support strategic planning and organisational development initiatives.
  • Conduct operational assessments and performance evaluations.
  • Develop productivity improvement and cost-reduction strategies.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance management systems.
  • Support business growth, scalability, and operational sustainability initiatives.
Project Management
  • Lead organisational improvement and business transformation projects.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are achieved.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation plans.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret operational and business data.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
  • Conduct capacity planning, workload analysis, and productivity studies.
  • Provide recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Support decision-making through data-driven insights.
Stakeholder Management
  • Engage with executive leadership, department heads, and operational teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, process reviews, and improvement sessions.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to management.
  • Support change management and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Improvement, or Systems Engineering advantageous.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt advantageous.
  • Project Management qualification advantageous.
 
Experience
  • 5–10 years' experience in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Improvement, Organisational Development, or Operational Excellence roles.
  • Proven experience designing and building organisational structures, business systems, and operating models.
  • Experience leading business transformation and process optimisation initiatives.
  • Experience across manufacturing, engineering, logistics, supply chain, mining, construction, consulting, or industrial environments advantageous.
  • Experience working with executive and senior management teams.
