Technical Internal Sales Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Support the external sales team by preparing quotations and converting sales opportunities.
• Respond professionally to customer enquiries and provide technical product guidance.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Process customer orders and ensure accurate administration through SAP.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
• Apply effective sales and negotiation techniques to maximise business opportunities.
• Assist the sales team in achieving regional sales objectives.
• Participate in after-hours standby support when required.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related qualification.
• An Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or similar) will be highly advantageous.
• Minimum 1–2 years' experience within an Internal Sales, Customer Service, Sales Support or similar commercial role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical information confidently.
• Professional, customer-focused approach.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Experience within an engineering, industrial, manufacturing or technical environment will be highly advantageous.
